On Wednesday, November 9, Keith Lyle, a senior at Bainbridge High School, signed a scholarship to play baseball at Tallahassee Community College.
Lyle, a shortstop and catcher, has played in 54 varsity games for the Bearcats and boasts a lifetime batting average of .385 with 62 hits, 42 RBI’s, and 2 home runs in his high school career. Going into his senior baseball season, Lyle has 22 stolen bases and an .851 fielding percentage. He has been named the Player of the Game 4 times and won Player of the Year Honors in 2016.
Tallahassee Community College has seen 14 players drafted in the Major League Baseball draft since 2006 and boasts a successful reputation on the field, earning five conference championships since 1995.
