BAINBRIDGE AND CAIRO, Georgia (Oct 14th, 2016) – First National Bank and Citizens Bank Cairo completed their merger today and will now operate as First National Bank.

As of September 30, 2016, First National Bank had approximately $114 million in assets, loans of $86 million, deposits of nearly $95 million and equity of $14.3 million. Citizens Bank Cairo had approximately $31 million in assets, loans of nearly $19 million, deposits of $27 million and equity of $4.3 million. The combined company will have nearly $145 million in assets and will operate 2 offices: Bainbridge and Cairo, GA.
