A Thomasville man is behind bars after a Tuesday night shooting left two people injured. According to the City of Bainbridge Press Release, Ladarris Quinton Small, age 24, was arrested after witnesses identified him as the shooter following a fight at the Rivers Apartments.

Ladarris Quinton Small, 24, of Thomasville has been arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred last night at the Rivers Apartments. The shooting occurred around 9pm and was preceded by a fight. Two subjects, who are not believed to have been involved in the fight, were hit by gunfire from a 20 gauge shotgun. At this time we have no information on the condition of the victims. The weapon used in the shooting was located in the trunk of a vehicle that was at the scene. Witnesses gave leads as to where the vehicle might have been headed following the shooting. Decatur County Sheriff’s Deputies, who were assisting with the incident, located the car at Gibbs-Miles Apartments with the truck open and the shotgun inside. Ladarris Small has been charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Additional charges are pending and the investigation is ongoing.
