Traffic Accident Causes Power Outage

According to Captain Brad Lambert with the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred when a 2015 F150, travelling east, failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Highway 309 N and Highway 262, striking a 37 foot RV that was travelling north on Highway 262.  After impact, the F150 then travelled down the ditch striking the light pole.  The RV blocked both lanes of traffic on Highway 262  after travelling into the ditch and back onto the highway.

The driver and occupant of the RV, a male and female, were transported to Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville.  The driver of the F150 was treated and released at the scene.
