- CAMILLA, GA (WALB) – A six and a half hour standoff ended in a Camilla neighborhood when a man finally surrendered to authorities, but not before investigators believe he shot and killed his wife.
- MITCHELL CO., GA (WALB) – A man is in jail after a shooting that put two people in the hospital early Saturday morning.
- VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) – Christopher Moore was arrested in Lowndes County Thursday and charged with Leaving the Scene of a Crash With Death, in Daytona on April 3.
- TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Drug charges have landed the son of a Leon County Commissioner behind bars.
- THOMASVILLE, GA (VALDOSTA TODAY) – A Thomasville man is warning others of a telephone scam that cost him thousands.
- MOULTRIE, GA (VALDOSTA TODAY) – Nineteen people have been arrested and authorities have seized drugs and guns as part of a multi-agency operation in south Georgia.
- ATLANTA, GA (AJC) – Cooper Harris was 22 months old when he died, locked inside a sweltering SUV on a summer day. Twenty-two months after that tragedy,his father goes on trial today for murder in Cooper’s death.
