- BAINBRIDGE, GA (POST SEARCHLIGHT) – The Climax city Council voted on Monday night March 14 Council meeting to accept the resignation of Council woman Elizabeth Phillips, effective March 28, 2016.
- BAINBRIDGE, GA (POST SEARCHLIGHT) – No serious injuries were reported in a two-car accident that caused a Hyundai Elentra to drive down the hill across from Elberta Crate Monday afternoon.
- BAINBRIDGE, GA (POST SEARCHLIGHT) – Bainbridge resident David Benjamin has announced intention to register as a write-in candidate for the office of Decatur County sheriff in the November election.
- CALHOUN CO., GA (WALB) – An interim director has been named to take the place of former Calhoun County EMS Director Susan English-Slappey for 60 days. English Slappey was fired because she can no longer perform her duties due to her recent arrest.
- THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) – A Thomasville man is behind bars, accused of approaching two girls in a park and trying to get them to have sex with him.
- COLQUITT Co. (VALDOSTA TODAY) – A high school student in Colquitt County has been arrested and faces felony charges for sending a Snapchat to fellow students.
- DOTHAN, AL (DOTHAN EAGLE) – One of the five suspects charged for their roles in a drug-related robbery that led to a shooting, high-speed vehicle pursuit and crash remains wanted by the Houston County Sheriff’s Office.
- ALBANY (ALBANY HERALD) — A standoff between law enforcement and a man who threatened to shoot himself at an Albany fast-food restaurant ended shortly before 7 p.m. with no injuries.
- MACON, GA (MACON TELEGRAPH) – A 45-year-old man last seen jogging on a stretch of north Bibb County railroad track was killed Tuesday afternoon after being struck by a northbound Norfolk Southern train bound for Princeton, Indiana.
- MOULTRIE, GA (MOULTRIE OBSERVER) – A Thursday afternoon wreck during a police chase is now a drug investigation.
