- THOMASVILLE (TIMES ENTERPRISE)— A prisoner and an ex-con are suspects in separate drug cases in which ice meth and other contraband were found in a shoe and under a pillow
- DOTHAN EAGLE – Dothan police arrested a Georgia man on a felony theft charge alleging he stole from the local sporting business where he worked in Dothan.
- ALBANY, GA (WALB) – A witness described a masked gunman who robbed an East Albany credit union Thursday morning as “very pleasant.”
- ATLANTA, GA (AJC) Gov. Nathan Deal placed much of north Georgia under a state of emergency and ordered state government offices in the region to shut down at noon Friday as a wave of widespread snow threatened the region
- JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Steven Bench is asked what he loves about football. His response is akin to the rock star answering the kid reporter’s question about music in the final scene of Almost Famous:“Everything.”
