Southwest Georgia Weekend Weather: Snow Possible?

Based on the projected forecast from the National Weather Service, expect cool (to cold) weather and rain for the next few days.  Thursday night and Friday will see rain over most of the southwest Georgia region, followed by sunshine and cooler temperatures for Saturday and Sunday.  Despite some reports, the National Weather Service is not predicting any chance of snow for Southwest Georgia.

Showers and thunderstorms before 1pm, then a chance of rain after 1pm. High near 61. South southeast wind around 15 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
