On Tuesday, representatives from the Honor Sentinels Inc. of Bainbridge stopped by Public Safety to give 15 “Necessity Packs” to Captain Terry Pait and Officer Jessica Richardson.

Each pack, assembled by Bill and Artie Cowgur, includes necessities such as a bottle of water, food items, sanitizing wipes, personal care items, and a small Bible. The packs will be divided up and placed in patrol cars to be distributed around town when an officer comes in contact with a person in need.

Capt. Pait stated, “It is the desire of the officers of Bainbridge Public Safety to assist citizens, and we are already looking forward to being able to give them out to several needy folks in our area.” Dan West, President of Honor Sentinels, said that as the supply of packs dwindles, Bill and Artie are prepared to make more so the officers will always have them available when needed.
