Tuesday High School Basketball Roundup

In Tuesday night’s high school basketball action, Bainbridge’s varsity girls defeated Thomas County Central Lady Jackets 52-35 in Thomasville.

Lady Cats in double figures were Nadia Marshall with 20 points and Asia Gordon with 10 points. For more on the Bainbridge-Thomasville girls matchup, see the Thomasville Times-Enterprise’s game story.

The Bainbridge High School boys also won against Thomas County Central, 79-49, improving their season record to 4-3. Bainbridge’s Myles Thomas had 18 points, Tyree Crump added 15 and D’Anta Williams put up 13 points.

The Bainbridge High School basketball teams will travel to play Cairo High School on Friday night.

In other Tuesday night games, Seminole County’s boys squeaked by Early County 84-81. Early County’s girls defeated Seminole County 75-65.

The Mitchell County boys defeated Calhoun County by a score of 77-73.

Baker County’s girls defeated Miller County 39-36.
