Colquitt County’s Lady Packers beat the Bainbridge Lady Bearcats 36-26 on Tuesday night, getting revenge for when the Lady Bearcats won the non-region matchup on Dec. 1.
The Lady Packers lost 56-49 to the Lady Cats in Bainbridge on Dec. 1.
On Tuesday night, the Lady Cats scored the first eight points of the game and led 15-11 after the first quarter, but scored just 11 points the rest of the game.
Bainbridge’s varsity boys defeated Colquitt County in Tuesday’s second game by a score of 81-68.
The Bearcats led by just one at the end of the first quarter but extended the lead to nine at the half.
Bainbridge’s 19-9 third quarter advantage put the Packers deeper in a hole.
The Bainbridge High School basketball teams have an away non-conference game at Westover in Albany on Friday, December 11. JV Boys starts at 3:30 p.m., varsity girls play at 6 p.m., and Varsity Boys play at 7:30 p.m.
The Lady Bearcats are 3-1 and the Bearcat boys are 2-2.
