One person was shot and killed at an apartment in the 300 block of South West Street around 8 p.m. on Monday night, according to Bainbridge Public Safety.
The victim was identified as Marcus Tajuan Bell, age 32. Bell resided at 604 Lamar Street, and was employed at the Pizza Hut in Bainbridge.
Someone called 911 at around 8 p.m. Monday night and when officers arrived at 301 S. West Street, they found Bell’s body inside the residence, according to Bainbridge Public Safety Director Jerry Carter.
Wanted for questioning in the shooting is a black male, approximately 26 years of age, who goes by the name “Scooter.”
The suspect has a tattoo on his left arm, short afro haircut, a black spot on the white part of his left eye, and two earrings in his left ear. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, black jeans, and black shoes, and riding a dark beach cruiser bike.
According to Carter, the description of the man officers would like to talk to was provided by residents of the apartment at 301 S. West Street.
