Bainbridge City Council to hold public hearing on 2016 budget; Mayor to talk on radio show

The Bainbridge City Council will hold the first public hearing on its Fiscal Year 2016 operating budget tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 101 S. Broad Street. Among the items in the new budget is a proposed 2 percent cost of living raise for City of Bainbridge employees.

In related news, Bainbridge Mayor Edward Reynolds will be a guest on the Jesus and Jammin’ morning show on Wednesday at approximately 7:45 a.m. Mayor Reynolds will talk about Decatur County commissioners’ proposed millage rate increase, as well as funding of the Memorial Hospital Authority and the new Recreation Authority.
