Bainbridge has a new good-tasting, family-run seafood restaurant: it’s called Blue Anchor Seafood and Grill.
Blue Anchor Seafood and Grill is located at 1037 Faceville Highway (also known as Georgia 97 South) in Bainbridge and opened in May 2015. The restaurant is open Thursday through Sunday for lunch and dinner. Owners Danny and Angie Elkins run the restaurant with their children and close friends and serve up a tasty menu of seafood, old-fashioned hamburgers, chicken wings, salads.
“It’s all freshly cooked and made to order,” said Angie Elkins, who said the restaurant’s name, “Blue Anchor,” was primarily inspired by a favorite Bible verse. Hebrews 6:19 in the Bible reads, “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.”
