Just in time for father’s day, South Georgia Outdoors has completed a major expansion, nearly doubling the size of the original store. Owner Heath Sanders realized the store’s success created a need for more floor space. Sanders had the idea of more clothing brands, larger selection of popular products and more room to work, so the idea was hatched to grow the building’s footprint.
By adding over 2,000 square feet of floor space, the south Georgia retailer has broadened their capacity and increased their customers’ options. They’ve added clothing lines such as Southern Tide, Over Under, Cotton Brothers, Fish Hippie and Southern Point as well as tripled their selection of Costa Del Mar sunglasses. In fact, as a result of the expansion, South Georgia Outdoors is now one of the largest Costa del Mar dealers in the state of Georgia. South Georgia Outdoors was also able to grow their fishing and archery sections, satisfying customer demand.
