The Seminole County Indians Varsity dropped a 13-5 decision to Thomasville on Friday, in the second game of a doubleheader.
Thomasville won the first game 5-0.
In the second game, Thomasville’s Green, Wright and Milam combined for three hits and six RBIs.
Thomasville never surrendered the lead after the third inning, scoring seven runs on an RBI double by Wright, two errors, and a two-run single by Green.
Seminole County scored three runs in the top of the fifth to cut their deficit to five. A single by Brandon Williams, an error, and an RBI single by Tyler Peters gave the Indians life. But, Wilson got Ty Sherrer to strike out to end the inning.
Thomasville responded with four runs in the fifth, scoring on a groundout by Wilson and a three-run home run by Green.
Two runs in the top of the sixth helped Seminole County close their deficit to 12-5. A walk by Damion Calloway and a walk by Vashon Jackson set off the Seminole County rally. Finally, Rice induced an inning-ending strike out from Tyler Peters.
