Rainy weather ahead; but hopefully weekend events won’t be affected (Forecast + Radar)

People planning on attending weekend festivals should plan on taking a jacket or umbrella, just in case.

River Town Days will bring fun to Bainbridge’s Earle May Boat Basin on Friday night and Saturday, while the Gilliard Store Day will feature fun and music on Saturday. Gilliard’s is located off Georgia Hwy. 93 between Pelham and Cairo, while the Earle May Boat Basin is located on West Shotwell Street in Bainbridge.

The chance of rain is actually greatest on Thursday, so hopefully most of the heavier rain will move past us.
