March 14, 2015 – Grace Church is preparing to host a Men’s Conference on Saturday, March 14th at 4:30pm. This event which is open to the public will include food and entertainment. Guest will also enjoy two speakers, Drew Pittman and Ernie Sims.
Drew Pittman is the author of First Team Dad, a book about creating a legacy of significance for the family. Pittman works as a Sports Agent and has assisted more than 100 players in their pursuit of playing football in the NFL. Drew’s greatest passion though is Jesus and the family.
Also on the agenda for the evening is Ernie Sims. Sims is best known in the football world for his time as a running back for Florida State University. Sims however has also been a missionary to inner city youth in Tallahassee since 1995. God used him to found the WAY Ministries of Tallahassee, Inc. WAY is a non-profit organizations that bridges the gap between churches, schools, and communities by meeting the spiritual, physical, social, emotional and economic needs of their youth and family.
Grace Church will use the Men’s Conference as a launch for a weekly bible study called 33 The Series, A Man and His Design. This series focuses on a journey to authentic manhood as modeled by Jesus in his 33 years on Earth. This series will last 6 weeks and also be open to the community.
