Suspect in 5 LaGrange deaths arrested

In another post, we mentioned some speculation that Thomas Jesse Lee, the suspect in five deaths in Lagrange, Ga., over the weekend, might have made his way to Bainbridge and stole the patrol car.

Thomas Lee was also captured on Monday. Decatur County Sheriff Wiley Griffin, who is president of the Georgia Sheriff’s Association, congratulated his colleague in Troup County:

Congratulations to Sheriff James Woodruff of Troup County. Thomas Lee has been arrested in Tupelo, Mississippi. An alert pastor of a church recognized Lee after helping him by buying him a bus ticket to Alabama. The pastor alerted Law Enforcement. Sheriff Woodruff also gave credit to social media for getting Lee’s picture and info out to the public. Great job Facebook.
