Biopolymer manufacturer, MHG, announced they will be the top sponsor for the 2015 Innoplast Solutions Conference, which will commence on January 28th and continue through January 30th. The conference, which will be held at the InterContinental on Biscayne Bay in Miami, FL, is centered on the theme “Bioplastics: Re-invention of Plastics via Renewable Chemicals”.
During the conference, Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Paul Pereira and Chief Science Officer Dr. Isao Noda will present “The Disappearing Act” — a presentation on MHG’s renewable and 100% biodegradable mcl-PHA bioplastic on January 29th. Accompanying their presentation, MHG will have several tabletop displays detailing how their world-class production system converts non-GMO canola oil into biodegradable PHA resin pellets.
“The bioplastics industry is quickly evolving and we are looking forward to the years ahead, as we grow our company,” stated Paul Pereira, CEO and Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors at MHG. “Our product is 100 percent biodegradable, which is why we call it the disappearing act. MHG’s truly renewable and sustainable model of biodegradable products positions them as one of the leading biotech companies worldwide.”
MHG is set to launch the first commercial scale production of PHA in February of 2015, and sample volumes have already peaked at an all time high.
The company is also leveraging their expertise to offer services in “Specialty Toll Manufacturing”, where they follow other company’s formulations, materials and instructions, but produce the products using their own state of the art equipment, facility and fully trained and experienced staff. MHG has the most advanced reactive extrusion process, and allows customers to save on operational costs.
