Bainbridge Public Safety will be continuing its Citizen’s Police Academy on Tuesday, January 20.
The academy is free, and will provide an opportunity for citizens in the community to obtain an inside look at the Department of Public Safety. It is not designed for those interested in a law enforcement career, but rather for anyone seeking to gain a greater understanding of how the department operates, and of the problems and challenges faced by Public Safety Officers on a daily basis.
The academy will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday. Topics covered this week will be:
- -Recruitment / Hiring Process
- -Training of New Hires / Field Training Program
