Bainbridge Public Safety officers will help children with Christmas shopping

Christmas-shopping-WEBShop With a Cop will take place in Bainbridge on Friday, Dec. 19 (originally scheduled for Sat. Dec. 20).

Officers from Bainbridge Public Safety will take children shopping with the proceeds from the Jingle Bell Jog 1-Mile Fun Run and 5K that was held last Saturday.

Children will be able to purchase gifts from Wal-Mart for their family members, and parents will be grocery shopping.

Following the trip to Wal-Mart, families will be treated to lunch at Public Safety Headquarters on Louise Street and children will wrap their gifts.

Shopping will begin at 10 a.m. at the Bainbridge Wal-Mart at the middle entrance (not the grocery entrance on the far left). Donations to help with the children’s shopping are welcomed and can be mailed to Shop With a Cop, PO Box 158, Bainbridge, GA 39818 or dropped off at Bainbridge Public Safety headquarters on Louise Street, or at Bainbridge City Hall on Broad Street.
