Theft of hundreds of gallons of off-road diesel fuel reported

On Monday, November 10, 2014, Sgt. Jason Williams responded to River Rd., in reference to a burglary. Several items, including two handguns, were reported missing.

On Monday, November 10, 2014, Deputy Vincent Edmond responded to a vehicle accident at the intersection of Whigham Dairy Road and Belcher Lane. Deputy Edmond arrived and saw that a silver Volkswagen coupe had driven down into a ditch and collided with a power pole. The driver of the Volkswagen was arrested for DUI.

On Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 1215 hours, I, Sgt. Tim Williamson was dispatched to the 2700 block of Vada Rd, in reference to Criminal Trespass. It was discovered that someone had broken into several storage building units and stole some of the contents.

On Saturday, November 8, 2014, Lt. Redell Walton contacted a resident on Mills Road in reference to stolen property. The complainant stated that unknown suspects went to his property Thursday, November 6, 2014, and removed two twenty-four inch flat roof vents, a 1975 GMC truck bumper, an empty refrigerator used for storage, a fire insert, and a 60 gallon syrup kettle.

On November 6, 2014, at approximately 1115 hours, Captain Brad Lambert, responded to Murray Farms (3654 Faceville Hwy.) in reference to a report of stolen off road diesel. Upon arrival, contact was made with the complainant who stated someone stole approximately 400 gallons of red off road diesel from a 700 gallon fuel container located on property owned by the business.

On Tuesday, November 04, 2014, Deputy Vincent Edmond responded to the G&G Grocery and Deli located at 101 Old Bainbridge Road in Brinson, in reference to a business alarm. Deputy Edmond arrived and found that someone had shot four holes in a store window with what appears to be a Pellet or BB Rifle.

On Tuesday, November 04, 2014, Sgt. Jason Williams responded to a grass field located off 97 south near Faceville. The complaintant stated sometime during the night, a Jonsered chain saw red in color was stolen from this logging site.
