On the morning of Sunday, Sept. 1, Bainbridge Public Safety responded to RX Drugs, 1205 Shotwell Street, in reference to a burglary that had occurred over the weekend.

Capt. Jack Bunting observed some of the business’ ceiling tiles had been knocked down and others pushed out of the way, as apparently someone had got on the roof of the drugstore and climbed through the air conditioning duct into the building.

Several bottles of medicine had been moved and some were lying on top of the ceiling tiles. It wasn’t immediately clear if anything had been taken.

Anyone with more information about who may have broken into RX Drugs is asked to call Investigator Ryan Deen at 248-2038.

Business vandalized

On Tuesday, Sept. 2, Bainbridge Public Safety responded to American Storage Company, located at 1614 E. Shotwell Street, in reference to damage to the building. Several lights that had been mounted to concrete columns at the business had been busted and debris from the light covers was lying on the ground.

A review of the business’ security video showed four persons approach the building at approximately 10:41 p.m. on Friday, August 29. A male jumped up and hit one of the lights with his hands, causing damage.
