There were 10 deaths in Labor Day weekend traffic crashes across Georgia. The 78-hour holiday period began at 6 p.m. on Friday, August 29 and ended midnight on Monday, Sept. 1. None of the deaths were reported in Troop G (Southwest Georgia).
The Georgia State Patrol reminds drivers to continue safe driving habits as the school year resumes.
