Bainbridge vs. Early County and two more games on our radio stations this Friday night!

Friday night will be an intriguing match up at Standifer Field in Blakely as the Bainbridge Bearcats travel to take on the Early County Bobcats. This will be a battle of two young, talented teams. The Bearcats have won the past six meetings over the Bobcats, but all of the games were extremely close. Early County is coming off of a great defensive performance, holding the top-scoring offense in Class A to just seven points last Friday as the Bobcats tied with Irwin County 7-7. This will be the season-opener for Bainbridge, which dropped down a classification to AAAA, along with Thomas County Central.

The Bainbridge-Early County game will be brought to you live Friday, August 29th at 7p.m. Tune in to Live 101.9 – WBGE to catch all of the action.

New coach Jeremy Rayburn will have his hands full in his Miller County coaching debut Friday night as the Miller County Pirates welcome the defending state champion Marion County Eagles. The Eagles look to keep soaring high into their quest to defend their title as Senior Quarterback Algin Merritt and the Pirates look to open their season with a huge victory.

Pelham will take on cross town rivals Baconton-Charter in the Q 92.3 WQLI Game of the Week. This year will be the Blazers’ first season playing a region schedule. The Hornets look to gain a years worth of bragging over the Blazers. You can catch this game on Q 92.3 WQLI on August 29th at 7p.m.
