Maggie Bridges of Decatur County named Miss Georgia 2014

Maggie Bridges of Decatur County was selected as Miss Georgia 2014 on Saturday night in Columbus, GA.

Bridges receives $15,000 in scholarship awards and will represent Georgia in the Miss America pageant in Atlantic City, New Jersey on September 14, 2014.

Bridges also received the highest score in the Fitness (swimsuit) category, which earned her another $500 scholarship.

Miss Bridges is the daughter of John and Cathy Bridges of Brinson, GA. She is an alumnus of Southi Georgia Academy and currently attends the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA.

McKenna Locke of Bainbridge, who is the reigning Valdosta State University Outstanding Teen, won a $150 scholarship for placing in the Talent category in the Miss Outstanding Teen Georgia, also held Saturday night in Columbus, Ga.
