Recent Decatur County Sheriff’s Office incident reports

The following incident report summaries were provided by the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office:

  • ON JUNE 10, 2014 SGT. WILLIAMSON RESPONDED TO A RESIDENCE ON KELLY ROAD IN REFERENCE TO SOMEONE DAMAGING FOUR TIRES.  SGT. WILLIAMSON ROAD THE AREA TO LOOK FOR THE OFFENDER WITH NEGATIVE RESULTS.  SGT. WILLIAMSON IS WAITING ON THE RESULTS OF THE INVESTIGATION FROM INV. BOWYER.
  • ON JUNE 10, 2014 DEP. HUGHES, CAPT. BEDWELL, AND SGT. GODWIN RESPONDED TO PLUM NELLY CIRCLE IN REFERENCE TO A ROBBERY.  INV. ROBERTS AND INV. BOWYER RESPONDED TO THE SCENE.
  • ON JUNE 10, 2014 SGT. GODWIN RESPONDED TO OLD CLAY PIT ROAD IN REFERENCE TO DAMAGE TO PROPERTY.  THE COMPLAINANT STATED HE DID NOT KNOW WHEN OR HOW THE WINDOWS GOT BROKEN.  POSSIBLE FOLLOW UP AT A LATER DATE.
  • ON JUNE 9, 2014 SGT. WILLIAMS, CAPT. TROLINGER, CAPT. MCMILLAN, AND DEP. EDMOND RESPONDED TO 1761 FACEVILLE HWY. IN REFERENCE TO A BURGLARY AT A &A CONVENIENCE STORE.  CASE TURNED OVER TO INV. WALTON
  • ON JUNE 5, 2014 SGT. WILLIAMS RESPONDED TO A RESIDENCE ON STEPHENS JENKINS ROAD IN REFERENCE TO A THEFT OF ELECTRICAL WIRE.  SGT. WILLIAMS COULDN’T FIND ANY EVIDENCE TO BE PROCESSED IN THIS CASE.
  • ON JUNE 5, 2014 LT. SGT. GODWIN ASSISTED BPS IN REFERENCE TO AN ATTEMPTED ROBBERY THAT HAD TAKEN PLACE AT QUICK BUYS ON WHIGHAM DAIRY ROAD.  CASE TURNED OVER TO INV. BOWYER.
  • ON JUNE 6, 2014 DEP. KINES RESPONDED TO BPS AND SPOKE WITH A MAN IN REFERENCE TO A HIT AND RUN THAT OCCURRED IN THE COUNTY.  NEGATIVE CONTACT WAS MET WITH THE SUSPECT.
  • ON JUNE 4, 2014 DEP. HUGHES RESPONDED TO WHIGHAM DAIRY ROAD IN REFERENCE TO CREDIT CARD FRAUD.  CASE TURNED OVER TO INV. WALTON.
