Mrs. Waunell Reichert, age 84, of Thomasville, Ga., made history on Saturday, May 2 when she walked across the stage at Thomas University’s Spring 2014 commencement. Waunell is the oldest person in the State of Georgia to have graduated from college. In addition to receiving her diploma, Waunell was also honored with a resolution from Georgia State Representative Darlene Taylor (R-Thomasville) in a separate ceremony.
