FWC Officer Shot and Wounded, Boat Stolen
PANAMA CITY, Fla. (AP) — Florida Panhandle authorities have arrested two men they say were responsible for the shooting and wounding of a wildlife officer.
The Bay County Sheriff’s Office reports in a news release that the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officer was on his boat Friday afternoon when he was shot. The two suspects then stole the boat but beached it a short time later in Panama City and fled.
