Bainbridge basketball teams keep rolling; Bearcats receive holiday tourney honors

The Bainbridge High School varsity boys and girls basketball teams each picked up a win versus region opponent Americus-Sumter Panthers on Saturday night in Americus.

With the wins, the Lady Bearcats improve to a 10-3 overall record and the Bearcat boys are now 11-3.

Bainbridge will host Thomasville at the BHS gym on Tuesday, Jan. 6. The varsity girls play at 6 p.m. and the varsity boys will play at 7:30 p.m.

BHS basketball players also received honors from the Holiday Hoopfest they played in at Thomasville after Christmas.
