Two food gift certificates valued at $70 were donated by Boyd’s Bar-Be-Que as a giveaway prize to the donors.
Gift certificate winners were Linda Arriaya and Joyce D. Thompson.
“Our mission is to engage our non-traditional student body in activities that provide stimulating experiences designed to enhance the students’ academic endeavors and by supporting a vibrant community,” said Patricia Williams, the ALSO Club liaison. “The ALSO Club is a service club providing support for our community. It gives us great pleasure to help families in the community during the holiday season.”
Over 170 cans were donated by students, faculty and staff. The canned food items were given to the Salvation Army for the holidays.
