The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch effective from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. EST for a large area that includes Southwest Georgia, South Central Georgia, Southeast Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.
There is a line of thunderstorms currently located in Alabama that is moving east and should affect all of Southwest Georgia and the Florida Panhandle.
Widespread showers and t-storms developing around 4pm; Bainbridge may experience the worst part of the storm, including heavy rain and strong winds, at approximately 7 p.m.
