Apparently Monday night’s storm in Southwest Georgia brought some fierce winds with the rain.
When employees of Action GM, a car dealership located on U.S. 84 East in Bainbridge, arrived at 7 a.m. Tuesday, they discovered wind had blown a metal shelter that had been attached to the east side of the building, had been blown across the top of the showroom’s tall roof and dumped in a parking lot on the west side of the building.
Action GM general manager Randy Soden was supervising cleanup of the metal debris from the parking lot of the dealership’s service center. A forklift and manual power were used to haul the metal out or the way.
