The Downtown Development Authority of Bainbridge is hosting a Downtown Opportunity Night Thursday, October 2 from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at The Old Library located at 200 West Broughton Street. Downtown Opportunity Night is a way for the Downtown Development Authority of Bainbridge to showcase some of our finest historic buildings. Come and learn about local, state, and federal incentives and see how the incentives can make a downtown development project succeed. The incentives are part of an overall strategy to leverage investment, lower the cost of doing business and level the playing field for businesses and property owners choosing to invest in downtown properties.
The evening will begin with a social, then those in attendance will be able to hear first-hand from the experts in downtown development, and the evening will conclude with downtown property tours. Representatives from the Department of Community Affairs, Small Business Development Center, and Georgia Municipal Association will be in attendance and available to answer questions about their services.
The DDA is an organization that helps preserve the historic identity of the City of Bainbridge by strengthening and revitalizing the traditional downtown area with its characteristic small-town charm. We are here to help you with everything from finding the right space to working with local authorities to designing a dynamic storefront. Our vision is to create a desirable, vibrant and thriving shopping atmosphere by encouraging community awareness on the importance of downtown as the most vital economic force in the city.
