Our goal at Memorial Hospital and Manor is to try and save at least one woman’s life this October. We encourage all women to know the symptoms of breast cancer and get a mammogram. We ask that you encourage those special women in your life to do the same. Together, we can save the lives of those women that mean the world to us!
Memorial Hospital and Manor, along with Dr. Jerjis Alajaji, radiologist, have partnered together to offer a discounted mammogram special during the month of October, in recognition and support of Breast Cancer Awareness.
- No doctor’s order required
- $50 covers all charges associated with a screening mammogram
- No fuss, no insurance paperwork, no hassle
To make an appointment for a mammogram, call (229) 243-6180. Walk-ins are also welcome. The radiology office is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, and from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday.

To be eligible for the $50 mammogram, you must be a female age 40 or over that has not had a mammogram since Oct. 1, 2013. This special cannot be used in conjunction with insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.
Payment is required at time of service.
Memorial Hospital plans more PINK events in October
Join us in supporting breast cancer awareness by wearing pink on Wednesdays during October. We can help our community be ensuring that women have a fighting chance against breast cancer.
There will be “Pink-Out” football games and special recognition during October for all female patients, and patients having mammograms.
Lunch with the Experts, a breast cancer awareness seminar, will be held October 23, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Kirbo Regional Center at Bainbridge State College.
As a breast cancer survivor, I wasn’t aware that there are any “symptoms” of breast cancer, except in advanced stages. The best protection against breast cancer is early detection. Don’t wait for “symptoms” to appear before you get your mammogram and clinical breast exam.
