PRESS RELEASE
On Thursday morning, Bainbridge Public Safety Officers were dispatched to a structure fire at a home located at 417 Back Street. Officers arrived on scene within minutes and found flames coming from the back of the home and smoke pouring from the front eaves. Two elderly occupants of the home were safely removed from the burning structure. Moments later, the flames burned a power line in half causing it to fall on the roof of the home. Fortunately, no personal injuries were reported, but sadly, the home and its contents were a total loss.
