Bainbridge Ballplayer Drafted: Noah Bryant to the Royals

The City of Bainbridge is thrilled to share that Noah Bryant, son of Administrative Services Director Lisa Taylor, was selected on Wednesday by the Kansas City Royals in the 2018 MLB Draft.

Bryant, who is a freshman at Georgia Highlands College and a pitcher on the Chargers baseball team, was the 512th pick in the 17th round, and was selected as a Right-Handed Relief Pitcher following three days of drafting of amateur baseball players from across the country. On Saturday, Bryant will head to the rookie-level MiLB in Arizona.

Bainbridge City Manager Chris Hobby stated, “We are very proud of Noah and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors with the Royals. We are glad that we can share in this fantastic opportunity with Lisa and give our support to Noah who is a part of our City of Bainbridge family.”
