In a Friday press release, the Georgia DOT announced that the Bainbridge Bypass southbound lanes (from Highway 84 West to Shotwell Street) will be closed for bridge repairs this weekend. The road will be detoured through town and a temporary traffic signal will be installed at the bypass off-ramp at Highway 84 West. The north bound lanes will remain open.
