Memorial Day, which is observed on the last Monday of May, commemorates the men and women who died while in the military service. In observance of the holiday, display the United States flag at Half Staff from sunrise until Noon.

The following people have recently sent in pictures in our “Fly Your Flag” promotion, in which we are encouraging people to send us in pictures of the American flag waving proudly outside of their Southwest Georgia home or business. We want to show our neighbors and friends that Southwest Georgia is the most patriotic community in the world!
If you’d like to help out, please check out the details at the Fly Your Flag page, and see other pictures that have been sent it. As our way of saying thanks to our listeners, we’ll enter in the names of anyone who sends us an American flag photo into a drawing for a chance to win 6 tickets to Wild Adventures theme park in Valdosta, Ga.
The drawing will be held Tuesday, May 26 on our Flint Media radio stations.
