Kelvin Cochran, head coach of the Bainbridge High School varsity girls basketball team and assistant boys varsity coach, sends an update from Tuesday night:
Lady Cats (21-5) won their Region play in game tonight vs Worth Co. BHD girls qualified for the state playoffs and moved to the semifinals game Thursday vs. Monroe at 4:00 p.m. at Albany High School.
The Bearcats (18-9) ended their season tonight by losing to Americus-Sumter by 2 on a buzzer beater. Played short handed the last two nights but competed hard!!! Represented us well under tough circumstances, we’re proud of them!!!
