Hammer named City of Bainbridge’s Employee of the Year

At the Tuesday, January 20 meeting of the Bainbridge City Council, Mike Hammer was recognized as the City of Bainbridge’s Employee of the Year for 2014.

Mike has worked in the Public Works division since July of 2001. Steve Winburn, Director of Public Works, stated that Mike has a wealth of knowledge, is a super handyman, and always goes above and beyond what is asked of him while maintaining a great attitude.

Steve said, “He’s the kind of employee you enjoy working alongside!” Presenting Mike with an award plaque and check were City Councilwoman Roslyn Palmer, City Manager Chris Hobby, and Public Works Director Steve Winburn.
