A Gadsden County, Fla., man has been charged in last weekend’s fatal shooting in Cairo, Ga., according to media reports.
According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, 28 year old D’Laljujuan Jones of Havana, Fla., turned himself in to Cairo, Ga., police on Monday, Jan. 19. Jones was arrested in connection with the shooting death of Stanley Hill, 24, of Cairo on Saturday night.
Also injured in the shooting were Kentrall Brown, 24; Shontarious Brown, 25; and Martarvione Moore, 20 were hurt.
Jones faces one count of murder and three counts of aggravated assault. He’s currently being held in the Grady County Jail.
The shooting happened at approximately 9 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17, near the Cairo Gas and Food Mart at 101 4th St. SW in Cairo, where there was crowd gathered after a car show.
