New FSU Head Football Coach Mike Norvell has got his work cut out for him. In addition to inheriting a team that’s gone 18-20 in the last three years, he recently made national headlines after star Defensive Lineman Marvin Wilson took issue with his new coach’s comments to the Athletic. While that problem seems to have been resolved, his team is facing an uphill battle within their own division. Clemson is leaps and bounds ahead of everybody and it doesn’t seem like that’s changing anytime soon. Coach Norvell and crew have done a respectable job on the recruiting trail, but if they want to be a force at the national level again, they’ll have to do even better.
