Severe Weather Possible Tonight
The National Weather Service is predicting possible severe weather in southwest Georgia tonight. The threat brings the possibility of tornadoes and severe thunderstorms.

Bottom Line:Severe thunderstorms will be possible late tonight through Tuesday afternoon. The best chance for severe storms will be overnight across the Panhandle and southeast Alabama. The primary hazard will be isolated tornadoes.Overview:Two rounds of severe weather are possible through Tuesday afternoon. The first round, overnight, will be ahead of the main squall line and would likely impact the Panhandle and southeast Alabama. These storms would likely pose the greater threat for tornadoes. Very early Tuesday morning, through the afternoon, a line of storms will move across the entire region. Damaging winds and an isolated tornado will be possible with this line, but the severe threat should be diminishing with time.
