The National Weather Service in Tallahassee issued an announcement confirming evidence of an EF-0 tornado in Decatur County.
The storm system moved through southwest Georgia Sunday afternoon/night and initial rotation was seen on radar along Spring Creek Road just before 8:00 p.m. The damage surveyed by the National Weather Service is consistent with a tornado with wind speeds between 65-85 mph. The same rotation was tracked through Bainbridge, but damage was limited to the Spring Creek Road area.
The survey team in Decatur County has found evidence of a short EF0 tornado just southeast of Bainbridge along Spring Creek Road.

The National Weather Service confirmed that 9 tornadoes were spawned as a result of Sunday’s storms.
