Bainbridge Public Safety is searching for a brazen thief that stole a cash drawer from Walmart on Sunday. Here’s what happened:
THEFT AT WALMART:
On Sunday, March 25th, Bainbridge Public Safety Officer Mike Prindle was dispatched to Walmart on Tallahassee Highway in reference to the theft of a cash register drawer. Walmart Loss Prevention Officer LaDon Gardner told Prindle that just after midnight, a black male, approximately 6′ tall and 180lb., entered the Electronics area, pulled out the cash drawer from the cabinet, and cut the data cable. He then proceeded to the Photo Center and took a backpack off of a rack, and then exited the store through a rear Emergency Exit door. A damaged cash drawer was located laying on the ground just west of the exit. Officer Prindle searched the area near where the cash drawer had been found and located the backpack. If you recognize the man caught on video surveillance footage, please call Investigator Chip Nix at 229-726-4119.
