The National Weather Service in Tallahassee is predicting a chance isolated strong to severe storms in the next few days:
A cold front approaching the area will increase chances for showers and thunderstorms. Storms ahead the front today through Tuesday night could produce isolated strong to severe storms, as well as some heavy rain. SPC’s day 1 & 2 outlooks are attached, along with the 3 day rainfall forecast.

Severe Threats: Damaging wind gusts and small hail are the main threats, though a brief tornado cannot be ruled out
Potential Impacts: Tree and power line damage
Heavy Rain
Heavy Rain Threat: Rainfall accumulations of 3-4″ are expected from today through Tuesday night west of a line from Valdosta, GA to Apalachicola, FL, but isolated totals could be double that
Potential Impacts: Localized flooding will be possible, mostly in low lying or urban areas
