The employees of First National Bank in Bainbridge made a generous donation to the Secret Santa fund this week.
The fundraiser allowed employees to pay into a fund in exchange for the opportunity to wear blue jeans to work. All of the employees at the bank participated, with some contributing to help the cause, not necessarily because they wanted to wear jeans. “All of the First National Bank employees donated. We even had some employees who don’t like wearing jeans that made donations…I am so glad that the First National Bank team was able to raise so much for a great cause!” said Kim Perry, fundraiser coordinator.
All told the employees of the bank raised more than $900 and donated the funds directly to Secret Santa, a community fundraiser aimed at helping under-privileged children in southwest Georgia.
Secret Santa Coordinator Sherry Weaver, said, “We promise to spend every dollar faithfully to do the most good! First National Bank should know that it has truly been a blessing to our community and to numerous families in need!”
