- WHIGHAM, GA (SOWEGALIVE) – Whigham businessman Eric Cohen has been nominated to the prestigious UGA Alumni 40 under 40 list for 2016.
- BAINBRIDGE, GA (POST SEARCHLIGHT) – Tim Cochran has officially taken over as the new superintendent of the Decatur County School system.
- VALDOSTA, Ga. (WCTV) — The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department says a man and woman were arrested after a deputy found drugs in their vehicle during a traffic stop.
- OCILLA, GA (WALB) – One person is in custody following a deadly Wednesday night shooting in Ocilla.
- ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Two home invaders pistol-whipped an Albany man and fired shots at him as he chased them.
- GENEVA COUNTY, AL (DOTHAN EAGLE) – Geneva County Sheriff’s deputies, with the help of officers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), seized around 850 marijuana plants as part of a marijuana eradication program.
- VALDOSTA, GA (VALDOSTA TODAY) – During the 78 hour Independence Day Holiday Period which started on Friday, July 1st and ended Monday, July 4th ; Post 31 Troopers investigated 19 crashes with 9 injuries and 0 fatalities.
- COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Columbus police are searching for a woman who has been missing for the last three months.
